Palm Beach Chess – Programs
Since 2014, Palm Beach Chess has provided structured, high-quality chess instruction throughout South Florida, serving over 10,000 students across schools, community programs, tournaments, assisted living communities, and educational partnerships. Our programs support students of all ages and skill levels while helping develop State and National Champions. We focus on building critical thinking, concentration, and competitive excellence through chess education.
We partner with schools, organizations, and families to expand access to chess instruction and competitive opportunities. The following outline represents a program template; all programs are flexible and can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of each school or organization.
Example Program Overview

Program Type: School-based chess instruction / afterschool enrichment

Session Length: 1 hour per week

Program Duration: 9-week or 18-week options

Cost: $25 per student, per session

Minimum Enrollment: 8 students per site

If the minimum is not met, the school may choose to cover the difference

SafeSport trained instructors

Level II background screened

Experienced competitive chess players

Specialized training in youth and afterschool education
Enrollment & Administration
Registration and payment management can be:

Managed directly by Palm Beach Chess, or

Internally by the school or program.
Program Access

School-based programs are limited to enrolled students of the host school

Open-enrollment community programming is available at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium
